My Jaguar Automobilia

As well as being a programmer for over 30 years, I'm a dedicated Jaguar fan and for many years, I collected Jaguar Automobilia covering the period from the earliest days as Swallow in the 1920s through SS Cars Ltd and on to Jaguar. To your advantage, I need to dispose of much of it. There will also be some non-Jaguar material available at times. You have my personal guarantee that everything I have on eBay for auction is original unless stated otherwise.

My 1950s Jaguar Posters

I have many early Jaguar race-related posters from the 1950s. These rare and original Jaguar factory issue posters came from the stock of a very small one-room single-car garage dealer in Canada - these original posters are excessively rare in any condition and most are in excellent condition. Luckily for us, he had no space to display them when sent from the factory in England and so they remained in their shipping tubes - although much of his accumulated stock had already ended up in an incinerator before this, many were rescued

These posters rarely survived in any form - many of this dealers' remaining posters were seriously damaged by water when found but a number, escaped such damage - ones like this in good condition can and do command very high prices from racing afficianados. Reproductions do exist of some of the posters so be aware!

The posters were designed for only short duration usage after a major win or success and were then torn down and thrown away, often after being taped to windows or walls. And since they are generally printed on lightweight post-war paper, they didn't usually survive well if at all.
